I first learned about mosaic crochet when Erin hosted her Gingerbread CAL at the end of 2024. So if this is your first mosaic project, you are in great hands!

I was so pumped to have the opportunity to design a piece of a collaboration blanket that I got right to thinking. It didn’t take me long to land on popsicles as the perfect representation for my childhood summers. I can picture my brother sitting by the pool, still dripping chlorine water while he tries to lick a popsicle fast enough so as to not melt all over his hand.

Believe it or not, I’m not a huge fan of popsicles so I designed them in a way that they can also be ice cream bars if that’s more your style!
